Laboratory Services
The Cornell Scott-Hill Health Corporation Laboratory (Main Facility) relocated the majority of its operations from 428 Columbus Ave, New Haven to 36 East Industrial Road, Branford, CT. The laboratory and phlebotomy services remaining at the 428 Columbus Avenue clinic facility will provide STAT testing such as Strep Screens, Pregnancy Screens, Urinalyses, and glucose screens.
The Cornell Scott Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center Laboratory has been awarded an accreditation by the Commission on Laboratory Accreditation of the College of American Pathologists (CAP). This Commission is very prestigious because it conducts stringent inspection of laboratories internationally and is considered the leader in laboratory quality assurance. The Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center Laboratory is one of 6,000 CAP-accredited laboratories nationwide who have demonstrated "excellence of the services being provided" to patients at Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center. Several CS-HHC medical and behavioral satellite facilities who process their own laboratory tests were also accredited by the College of American Pathologists.
Over 50,000 test orders are handled, processed and analyzed annually by eleven (11) technical and non-technical CS-HHC staff. Staff also handle and process over 45,000 test orders for our reference laboratory, Quest Diagnostics. Laboratory services are provided at our satellite facilities. These facilities include CS-HHC-Ansonia, Dixwell Health Center (New Haven), West Haven Health Center (West Haven), State Street Health Services (New Haven), and South Central Rehabilitation Center (New Haven). The Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center Laboratory is dedicated to providing services to all patients. This includes uninsured patients for whom there is a Laboratory sliding scale program offering testing at reduced rates.

7 am - 8:30 pm; closed for lunch 1 pm - 2 pm
Wednesday and Friday:
8:30 am - 5 pm; closed for lunch 1 pm - 2 pm
Saturday:
8:30 am - 12:30 pm
