Welcome. The Hill Health Center WIC Program was the
first WIC Program in
Connecticut and one of the first in the nation. WIC provides healthy foods and nutrition information to pregnant
and post-partum women, infants, and children living in New Haven, Milford, and
West Haven. To enroll in WIC, you must be income eligible and have a nutritional
and/or medical risk. The WIC staff at the Hill Health Center are specially
trained to help mothers and children stay healthy. WIC can also refer you to
other programs that can help.

Our WIC
Clerical Staff (pictured to the left) are ready to help. Just call
203-503-3080 or 203-503-3081 and our staff will guide you through the steps to
getting on WIC. It is very easy, and feel free to call for more
information.
Once you are on WIC, you will receive special WIC checks. These checks can then be
used at food stores in your area. You may also receive Farmer’s Market Coupons
that you can use at authorized Farmers’ Markets.
Nutrition Experts...
WIC also provides information on healthy eating for women, infants, and
children. The information you receive is from nutrition professionals. Our
WIC Nutritionists (pictured to the right) are experts in the field of
nutrition and also ready to help.
