Health Center Announces Honorees for 35th Anniversary

The following people and institutions will be honored at the Hill Health Center's 35th anniversary dinner-dance May 8 at Yale Commons:  Arlyne R. Dildy, a Health Center founder; U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro, State Rep. Patricia Dillon, David Benfer and the Hospital of St. Raphael, Marna Borgstrom and Yale-New Haven Hospital.

David W. Benfer is president and chief executive officer of Saint Raphael Healthcare System and Hospital of Saint Raphael.

Marna Borgstrom is the executive vice president and chief operating officer of Yale-New Haven Hospital and Executive Vice President of the Yale New Haven Health System.

To mark the occasion, Citizens Bank announced that it would give Hill Health Center $100,000 to make major improvements to its pediatric waiting room in the Center's main Columbus Avenue clinic.

Dance music will be provided by La Orquestra Espada, a high energy, 16-piece group that has performed all over the United States.  Headlined by a group of stellar horn players and percussionists, Espada will offer something for

everyone,  from Motown to  Afro-Cuban, R&B and salsa, during the evening.

The Center has also assembled a wide array of gifts for the Silent Auction that will take place during the evening.  Jewelry, trips, a Foxwoods stay and even a Llama excursion for four will all be available for bidding.
