Children's Dentist Joins Hill Health Center

Dr. Farisa Surattanont (right) has joined the Hill Health Center's Dental Department. Dr. Surattanont is a pedodontist (children's dentist) who graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans and Columbia in New York City. She will be seeing patients at the Columbus Avenue dental clinic and at Katherine Brennan Elementary School, providing much needed care for low income children.

"Her coming is timely as there has been much controversy about the lack of dental services for children from low-income families in Connecticut," said Dr. Gwendolyn Testa, dental director.
